I watched Brokeback Mountain this afternoon and I must say I was pleasantly surprised, after reading a few reviews that said that the movie wasn't the best. Although not like the movies I usually like, I enjoyed it all, especially Jake of course, although I found Heath Ledger still annoyed me a little for some reason. The end was particularly sad as well.

A small post today, consisting of a few pictures of Rainbow Sun Francks (Stargate: Atlantis, This Space For Rent). Just a note for fans of his who are thinking of watching This Space For Rent, I watched the first episode online and while its not the worst show I've ever seen, it's probably not something that I'd watch again, despite growing on you a little by the end of the episode.

Hello Again :)

I just visited Gateworld and they've posted up that Rainbow Sun Franck's (Aiden Ford from Stargate: Atlantis) has started up a blog. He mentions in his latest post that he has gotten the lead role in a new show, although he doesn't mention what it is or what it's about, but that is good news. You can read his blog here.

Only a few pictures today, a bunch I just found on justjared.com from a new show premiering in the U.S. on August 29th, Prison Break. I might download the pilot episode and see if it's worth watching, as it sounds different, but a little strange, with a guy getting sent to jail on purpose so that he can break his brother out, who happens to be on death row for a crime he didn't commit. Interestingly enough, I just read a novel about a guy on death row, John Grisham's The Chamber the other week, a very good novel if you like legal thrillers. I'm back to reading the Sapphire Rose though, a fantasy novel by David Eddings.

Still slowly working my way through the archives at theoc_slash, read quite a few good fics lately, although I would still like a few more fics where one of them just shoves the other down on a bed and fucks them senseless. All the romance stuff between Ryan and Seth is good, but sometimes nothing beats plain old porn, especially if it was focusing on their first time and such. I even read an article in the Sydney Morning Herald recently about The O.C. fan fics. I suppose I'm one of the few guys into it according to the story, which obviously didn't mention the fact that a large percentage of the fan fics are porn.

A few pictures to keep this post interesting, this time of Aiden Ford / Rainbow, from Stargate Alantis, which I'm watching again, watching the Storm / the Eye yesterday. They were more enjoyable to watch the second time around, although I still find the Genii annoying and frustrating.

I still haven't had much of a chance to work on my next flash fan-fic lately, since I just don't seem to be in the mood to write very often lately. Hopefully that will change soon so I can get some more of it written. I did find a new Stargate Screen Captures website yesterday though, at StargateCaps.com, which has captures of the Sci-Fi Lowdown that aired this year, which none of the other capture sites had, so here are some of the best captures of Rainbow / Aiden from it.

Well, I'm still extremely busy, although I have the four day Easter weekend off, as well as next week where I don't have much study to to since I've done it all last week and this week, so I should hopefully get some time to do some more reading fan fic's, since the list of what I want to read has built up again, and I hope to write some more of my next Aiden/John slash fan-fic, which is called Late Night Rendezvous for the time being.

Some more pictures tonight, including six new small screen caps from the F.O.R.D. thread on Gateworld/Sci-Fi Board, from an interview with Rainbow that is probably going to be on the Atlantis DVD, as well as some new Orli pictures from his newest movie which I believe will be out soon.

Well, it's certainly been a tiring and busy week last week. Not only did I start back at Uni, my final year this one, but I also caught the flu or something as well, just as I was getting better from that stomach thing as well, so I've been busy and sick all week.

That explains why I probably won't finish the last part of Second Chance until mid next week. I have started on it, and it's coming along okay, but I'm only about half way through. It will have the happy ending I promised though :) I'll post it here and to the usual places once it's finished.

New-Atlantis has come back online, not sure how long ago, but when I first tried to visit it, it was broken, that that is where these three hi-res pictures of Aiden come from. Hopefully PhotoBucket doesn't do it's resizing thing to them all again.

Things are going pretty well at the moment. Still not feeling too well, but not as bad now I've adjusted to not being on the medicine again, and the test is on Friday morning so I can go back to taking it after that until I get the results a week later. Been writing a bit the past week as well. I've written two parts of my non-slash Discovering Series which is on my website, and I've also written about half of the next part of my first real slash story, Second Chance. This part's been a bit harder to write, since it's got more character speech and I'm struggling to get them to sound right, but I'm getting along :)

I'm still working on the second part of Second Chance, which is coming along rather nicely. I'm still not sure the characters sound like they would, but the plot and improvements in writing should make up for that for now IMO :) I'll finish proof reading it and post it up by the weekend.

I've got another doctors appointment tomorrow morning for the breath test, hopefully they can do it right then and I won't need another appointment, and hopefully it will come back positive again so they can give me different antibiotics and I will finally feel better :)

Well, I'm pretty much obsessed with this guy at the moment, and it doesn't help that I'm catching up my Stargate and Atlantis viewing at the moment watching two each weekend :) Not many new pictures of Aiden / Rainbow though, on account that most are just screen captures. I'm making up for that though reading a bunch of fan fics I've found with John Sheppard and Aiden Ford in the Yahoo! Groups I mentioned last time.

Still not feeling well, will go back to the doctor in a week or two and have the re-test, and then hopefully they can give me more antibiotics. Been watching some television lately too, the premiers of Desperate Housewives and Lost. Desperate Housewives was good, although it was slightly to 'girly' for me, which will be okay as long as it doesn't get worse. The dead person as a narrator was a good gimmick too. Lost was very good, but weird, and I think it will be hard for the show to sustain the pace it wants to set - there's only so much they can do with the initial plot they set up.

I've been catching up on Stargate Atlantis episode's that I've downloaded recently, only a few left of the season now, and one thing I've realized while watching them, is how incredibly hot Aiden Ford (played by Rainbow Franks) is...He's also got some quite funny lines in the show, although they seem to be ignoring his character mostly :(

I've made a directory for his pictures on my computer now, and I've put a few of the one's I've found so far below the cut. Most are captures from the episodes so far, and a few publicity photo shoots. I've also added my first Live Journal icon of him, since I just recently figured out how to do that :P

Unfortunately, it seems he's moving from a regular cast member to just a recurring one in the second season, hopefully he will still be around a lot though, and it won't lead to him being dropped entirely from the show. There's a few groups and slash fan fic groups linked below, as well as a link to a petition for his character on the show.
