It's been a while since I've written in here, but I might post a little more frequently now that I have four weeks off from work, which I've been looking forward to for ages. Going to Brisbane next week for a holiday as well :)

I got my first pay yesterday morning, which does help make it all seem a little more worthwhile. It was a little more than I expected it to be as well :) Next week's going to be long though, with a product training thing after work, an audit from the quality assurance company and a staff dinner one night as well. Still, I'm settling in rather well now and am not feeling as bad, so it should be all okay :)
I also have to use up my lunch break tomorrow to go to the post office. They were meant to deliver a parcel to me late last week, but it hasn't turned up, so I have to go chase it down... Hopefully it's there and hasn't gotten lost somewhere along the way.
I was going to post yesterday as well as todays post, but after some computer problems and also being very busy, that never happened. I *might* try to post tomorrow after work instead, but I'll see about that. For this post today though, some pictures of Colin Farrell. The first three are promo shoots from Miami Vice. The other ones are press photos from one of his sets.

Still not feeling 100% but I'm slowly getting there... Definitely regretting Friday night at this point... Job hunting is continuing but going about the same, hopefully I'll get another interview soon though. Can't remember if I mentioned this, but I'm going to start watching Smallville soon, since I didn't watch it the first time it premiered here and didn't bother trying from the beginning until now - so that might mean some new people to post pictures of sooner or later :).

A short post today picture-wise, just three new images of Colin Farrell. To be honest he doesn't look as good as he did in some of his earlier movies, such as S.W.A.T. and so forth, not sure why, perhaps it that he always seems to be smoking these days - which is bad and not very sexy. Still, he looks pretty good in these pictures :)

It's getting hot again here, after a spell of very nice, cool weather, which isn't very good. I haven't been reading as much lately, and am still waiting for the latest books I've ordered to arrive, so I've mostly being spending my time programming and such, getting quite a few new features in for the next version, although a few problems have also popped up.
I've finished the new seasons of Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis, but I'm still watching Season 2 of Stargate: SG-1 and I recently started watching Farscape again from the beginning so that when I catch up to new episodes for me, I will remember what is actually happening, and it's quite good as well. Also, I've been watching North Shore, which was cancelled after the first season, which has Stargate: Atlantis's Jason Momma, although as with Atlantis he doesn't seem to be a major character and is more of a background object than anything else so far, but it's only a few episodes into the season I suppose.

Still hunting for jobs, although I submitted one application today that already looks a little more promising. I also ordered another bunch of books from Emporium, who are quite a good book seller for books that aren't at my local book stores. I'm reading Sebastian, Bk. 1 of Landscapes of Ephemera by Anne Bishop at the moment which has been quite good so far. I'll also watch the season final of Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis tonight, and after that no new episodes until July :( I'm going to watch Farscape next week instead though from the very beginning, and since Nine never finished the series here in Australia when it was on, I'll get to new episodes sooner or later.

I think I'm just not having luck with the job interviews I'm getting, because this latest one was meant to call me in the first half of the week, but hasn't yet. I was going to call them tomorrow but will give them until Tuesday now since it's not like they'll hurry up if I call or not, and it's a long weekend as well. It is getting a little annoying it's taking so long to find a job though... The weather's been a bit better the past few days though and it's giving me a chance to do lots of reading and also programming on an application I've picked up again after a couple of years break.
Still no new pictures that are worth posting since my last post, so I've dug into my archives and have posted eight pictures of Colin Farrell, they're all rather old and you've probably seen them before but they are good ones :)

I've caught up with most things that I have to do now, although I still want to submit a few more job applications this weekend in the hopes of getting a job soon. With some of my family going overseas next week and the others going to stay with relatives, I'll have a bit more time next week to get other bits and pieces done as well, which is rather good. I also worked on the second part of my latest slash story today as well and got some more of that written.

Not a very good week so far, my Mum has been ill still and had to go to hospital briefly yesterday because the pain was too much, although she did get one test done and goes to see the specialist again next week. Hopefully they will work out what it is that's wrong. My Dad's also been away on business the past few days so I've been doing all the driving and cleaning and such and am a little tired.
I still haven't heard back from the job I applied for either and want to see if I've gotten it or should start applying for others. I did manage however to pass all the units in my last semester, as I just got the results last week, so I'm definitely going to graduate.
I couldn't find much to post today, or at least not any new stuff, so I might go back over some of the older images soon and pick out some of the good one's that I haven't posted before to put up here, but today there are some semi-high-res images from Colin Farrell's appearance on Saturday Night Live, which I haven't seen since that show doesn't really interest me, but the photos are good :)
No idea where I got them from though, but enjoy.

Well, I still haven't been writing any slash fics. I think I'll just give up on that for the time being, since I'm just too busy with Uni still, mostly working on my final year project, and any spare time I have I seem to be just reading novels, or catching up with television and movies and such.
It's on that topic thing brings this post. I watched Alexander yesterday. To be honest, the movie wasn't that good. Parts were very good, but I tend to find the battle and war scenes that don't have much of a plot boring, so half that cut out half the movie, and at 2 hours 45 minutes long, it was just way too long for what it was trying to tell. I did like however, Collin Farrell and Jared Leto together. Never really seen Jared in much before, and I must say, I like. I might actually take a small break from Ryan/Seth fics and have a look to see if anybody out there shared my interested in that pairing, since they were rather hot together, and did make up some of the more interesting parts of the movie.
Collin Farrell with blond hair though just doesn't work though, he looked stupid. I blame that and some of Jared's odd appearance in scenes on the director. He did look a little white, kind of like a vampire in some scenes. They try too hard these days to make epic movies these days.

I'm not 100% sure the photos in this post will work, although hopefully they will. I went to try to upload them like usual to PhotoBucket, but since their site was down and I couldn't be bothered waiting for them to fix it, I created another account at ImageHost, which I use for the photos section of my other website, and that seems to work well enough, if not a little slow to load the pictures sometimes...
A bit of a mixed bag today. A few new high-res photos of Orlando Bloom, a few screen caps of Collin Farrell from the Recruit, and a bunch of shirtless Ben McKenzie pictures from the O.C. (although they are the old season 1 captures). I was going to post the series of nude Heath Ledger pictures that is making its way around the net, from the set of his latest film, Barebroke Mountain, but I'm not sure of LiveJournal's policies so I'll do that another day. Still busy lately, although I have started writing my next Aiden/John fanfic. It will take a while to write this one though. I haven't been reading many fan fics lately though, just the novel I am reading (Owlsight), although I did catch up with a few old Orli/Viggo fics I have been meaning to read for a while yesterday, and I hope to find a chance to read the latest two parts of Ocean Souls tomorrow, another Orli/Viggo fan fic.
In the mean time though, here are sixteen new pictures of Colin Farrell that I found posted to Colin Farrell Daily a few days ago. Apparently they are from an old photo shoot, but I haven't seen them before, so they are at least new for me :)

I'm still working on the second part of Second Chance, which is coming along rather nicely. I'm still not sure the characters sound like they would, but the plot and improvements in writing should make up for that for now IMO :) I'll finish proof reading it and post it up by the weekend.
I've got another doctors appointment tomorrow morning for the breath test, hopefully they can do it right then and I won't need another appointment, and hopefully it will come back positive again so they can give me different antibiotics and I will finally feel better :)

Well, this is the first post of the new year for me. Still not feeling well, but not as bad as before, and I've got another doctor's appointment in a months time to re-test for what was wrong and so I'm not too worried at the moment. Still also have a month and a half before University starts again as well which is good.
Movie wise, I'm going to be watching At Home At The End Of The World, with Colin in it and Calcium Kid, with Orlando in it over the next few weeks as I work my way through a small back log of DVD's that I've yet to watch. Haven't been reading many fan fics lately, although I've read the odd one from Carefully Kissed as usual.
